Garden for Root Carving
The root carving belong to some precious species of tree such as litchi, longan etc. which have grown through many years. In the rocky area where lava overflows, the soil is very thin, so the trees had to extend their roots along the surface fractures of rock to form twisted roots, various and naturally artistic in shape. When trees died, their roots were taken out and slightly processed, and then the root carving is ready.
根雕艺术园
此根雕属火山地区珍贵之树种，如荔枝、龙眼、刈嘴罗等，经过千百年的自然生长。植根于火山熔岩地带。土层薄、石头多，根部是在岩石表层裂隙延伸，夹带火山石生长，形成盘根错节，千姿百态的天然艺术造型。数千百年后因枯老树根经清理自成根雕。
